Oakfields Primary Parent Teacher Association (PTFA)
Oakfields Primary PTFA (formerly Greenfields Association) is a parent-run charity that organises events and activities to help raise additional funds to enrich our children’s school experience. In the past year, events have included discos, gift shops for celebrating Mother’s and Father’s Day, raffles, and our Summer Fair. Recently, we have funded the renovation of the pond area at the Northolmes site and purchased new indoor toys and games for use during wet weather. We have also donated decorations for Christmas lunches, Easter eggs for every child, new starter book bags, breakfasts for Y6 children taking SATs and ice pops for Sports Day.
By getting involved with the PTFA you get to meet other parents, have lots of fun creating memories for the children and help to provide the extras for the school to enhance the children’s school experience.
You can get involved in several ways:

- Donate clothes into the clothing bin, located outside the Northolmes site.

We use the Classlist app for tickets to PTA events, organising PTA volunteers, and for sharing fundraising results and donations to the school. You can also connect directly to other parents to organise playdates or chat with your class.
